About this Piece

Celebrate the many kinds of embrace

There are many kinds of embrace: supportive; passionate; loving; a parent to a child; fraternal; celebratory; consoling. All of these emotions are encompassed by the simple, single act of encircling another in your arms.

An adaptation by our co-founder Kathleen Smyth of a design by sculptor Constantin Brancusi, it has a carefully polished pure bronze finish with a ceramic resin cold cast pouring.

Map of Ireland

I ordered 2 maps of Ireland. One for me and one for my Brother. His is a Christmas gift for him and his wife. We have both been to Ireland and just love the map our Mother was from there and it shows Roscommon where her family was from . Just love it. Thanks
