Blackthorn Walking Stick Shillelagh

I had been eyein the BTWSS for some time but was a wee bit hesitant. I finally communicated with Aidan and took the plunge. I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever here!!! The Stick was everything Aidan said it would be and more. I am now a proud owner with much Irish heritage! I only wish that I can one day use it in the Auld Sod🍀

Very pleased with my shillelagh

As advertised, after ordering they asked a few questions about my preferences. Since they are hand made and all different, they took my preferences into account and sent me a few pictures of those they thought I might like. I made my choice and it arrived surprisingly fast, as I live in the US and it was shipped from Ireland.

The only warning I would give would be that you might want to consider a rubber tip for it. The bare wood end slipped a bit on wooden floors. I was very lucky in that the diameter of mine was almost exactly 3/4 inch, which is a standard size for replacement cane tips. They don't cost much and the rubber replacement tip looks good and fit very (VERY!) tightly and securely. The folks at Gifts of Ireland were very helpful with me, so they might have suggestions for a tip if you feel you need one. I just didn't to ask before mine arrived.
