I bought sheep 🐑 slippers for my nephew and he loves them. I highly recommend you start shopping for gifts for Christmas now.
I bought this shirt for my son & he was very happy with it. He got his first grandchild a few months ago, so he got quite a kick out of getting a "Grandfather shirt"! I chose the Navy Blue one, that suits him perfectly. A huge success so I strongly recommend this shirt as a gift or treat yourself.
Before reviewing this jacket, I must mention how wonderful and helpful Gifts of Ireland were with my order. The jacket sold out and was no longer available several times, but whenever I emailed the company I received a quick reply to answer all of my questions regarding when it would be back in stock. Ultimately, I was able to get my hands on the “wool tweed walking jacket.” Now for the review;
Without being a “tailored” cut, the jacket is neither slim fit nor baggy. It fits very well. The length is not too long nor too short; it comes just past the waist. The herringbone is a medium pattern in size; noticeable that it’s herringbone but not distracting in any way. Make no mistake, this tweed is of the highest quality. The cuffs have a snap button closure offering two different options for either a looser or tighter fit. The inside has a very nice smooth black quilted pattern which makes it easy to slip on and off. The jacket has some rather large exterior pockets, but these are hidden with the clever cut of the fabric seams. Easily accessible, but never in the way and never taking away from the clean look of the jacket. An additional left breast interior pocket reveals a zippered closure which is always a nice option to secure a valuable. A beautiful small leather etched patch adorns a spot between the shoulder blades which reads, “Emerald Isle weaving.” Below this text, a small shamrock as a reminder that this garment was hand crafted in Ireland.
Now if you don’t know anything about Irish tweed, I highly suggest you do some research so that you can truly appreciate this aspect of Irelands heritage passed down from generation to generation.
I 100% recommend purchasing this jacket and I encourage you to avoid buying a similar style or type from somewhere else. This jacket is authentic, excellently crafted and will be sure to keep you warm whenever you’re in need to go out into the elements. Slainté
I simply love my Breaffy Ladies Aran Cardigan, which reminds me of that green-breasted isle wrapped in myth and mist, where the land sings in ancient tongues and the wind tells stories no book can bind. Eire is a harp strung with laughter and longing, each string a county, each note a memory. I love it.
This hat is beautiful, well made, warm - I want to wear it all the time.

Yes, aprons were a common garment for Irish women, especially those working in rural areas. They were worn over dresses or petticoats to protect the clothing while doing household chores, cooking, or working on the farm. Some aprons were practical for everyday use, while others were more decorative for special occasions.
