About this Piece

As well as being the patron of healers and midwives, St Brigid is strongly associated with many holy wells around Ireland, where water has long played a significant part in sacred celebrations.

An original design by Kathleen Smyth, based on the many holy water fonts in Ireland.

It has a carefully polished pure bronze finish with a ceramic resin cold cast core.

Irish sweater mug

I am allergic to wool so this mug is the closest I can get to the beloved, iconic Irish wool sweaters. I bought this same mug last time I was in Ireland and love it but was always afraid something might happen to it, so I needed a spare just in case!
