About this Piece
The traditional Gaelic greeting which means "100,000 welcomes"! The Irish respect the significance of the welcome as a threshold or rite of passage. Among Celtic culture, there is a wide recognition of the importance of chance meetings and random events with a renowned openness to new experiences, opportunities and people. This is characterised by the expansive and generous nature of the phrase "céad míle fáilte".

About the Maker
Beautiful item and well made.
I was delighted to come across this unique piece right after the sudden loss of my husband. I loved the simple modern feel of the metalwork yet the strength of the message behind it. Although an appropriate gift for someone at the beginning of their marriage journey, it also holds significance for me, to remember the love and journey we all continue with those we love and who have and continue to make an impact on our journey, even beyond the physical life. Also, shipping to US from Ireland was fast and the customer service was remarkable. I appreciated the hand written note from Aidan and that this among many other pieces, come from local artists in Ireland. What a great community of talented and kind people!
Excellent product and service from Aidan. Loved the personal touches. Would definitely return as a customer when something takes my eye.
I saw this item recently in a gift shop while in Tipperary. When I returned home I searched the internet and found it at a really good price on Gifts of Ireland. It’s a wedding gift for my aunt and I know she will love it! The service was great and I highly recommend Gift of Ireland. I have already chosen other items I want to buy from them.
