About this Piece

This beautiful Tree of Life necklace is made in Ireland and cast in sterling silver. The pendant is set with sparkling marcasites. A lovely piece of Irish jewelry to add to your collection, or to give as a gift.

        The Celtic Tree of Life

        Known as crann bethadh to the ancient Celts, the Tree of Life (and its many variations across ancient cultures) represented rebirth and resilience, as well as balance and harmony, as symbolized by its branches rising towards the heavens and its roots descending into the earth. Whenever land was cleared to make way for a new farm or settlement, one large tree would be left alone in the middle as a sacred focal point (thus, cutting down an enemy's tree would be a huge blow to them). While trees provided resources and shelter, they were also a doorway to the spirit world.

They have taken the traditional Irish Symbols and emblems such as the Claddagh, Shamrock, Trinity Knot and the Celtic Cross and given them a modern look and feel using the latest technology.





        All their pieces are authenticated and then hallmarked by the Dublin Assay Office in Dublin Castle.

        The Trinity knot earrings are beautiful! I highly recommend them. I also want to give Gifts of Ireland customer service 5 stars. When Aiden heard that I hadn’t recieved them yet he reached out to me. They had mailed them out to me in a fast time, but unfortunately once they reached the shores of the USA the package got bogged down in our postal system.
