About this Piece

This stunning necklace is inspired by the Celtic myth of the Children of Lir. According to legend, the Tuath Dé Danann were a supernatural race that lived and ruled in Ireland. Lir was married to the daughter of their King and had four children with her. Sadly, his wife died, and the King sent another daughter to take her place. Jealous of the love and affection Lir gave to his children, their stepmother transformed them into swans.

This intricately detailed necklace captures this popular Irish myth. This necklace features three white swans with silver hands and face reaching for them. This is the perfect piece of Irish jewelry for anyone with an appreciation for Irish heritage or legends.
