Connemara Marble is truly special:
We work with Connemara marble quarry in Lissoughter Co Galway to create these beautiful items. first opened in the 1820’s under the ownership of the Martin family. At it’s peak the marble was used in many of Ireland’s most important buildings. It was shipped to the UK and the USA where it adorned some of the world’s finest buildings including Kensington Palace. So famous was the quarry that it was visited by King Edward VII in 1903.
