Around 12 individual rush stalks are required to make one cross, although this may vary slightly depending on how tightly the cross is woven and the individual rushes used.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUsing approximately 12 rushes, the finished St. Brigid’s Cross will measure around 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe rushes are supplied in packs based on the number of crosses you would like to make.
